Riggs Parent Seminar

Riggs is the phonics, reading, writing, and spelling program used at LCS to develop student literacy skills. This seminar will provide basic information and will be a hands-on opportunity to better understand how to help your student use Riggs techniques.

Riggs is the phonics, reading, writing, and spelling program used at LCS to develop student literacy skills. These training sessions are designed to inform parents about basic information pertaining to Riggs, as well as how to effectively work with your student(s) using Riggs’s techniques outside of the classroom.

The Riggs training sessions are open to parents or guardians who have students in grades K - 3. Classes are 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. The following dates are available:

  • Tuesday, September 22 at 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 21 at 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 12 at 6:00 p.m.
