Our kindergarten is a place where young children can come learn what it means to be part of a thriving group of people, working together
toward a common goal. We build a classroom culture to train young minds and bodies what is expected in a learning environment. We encourage children to understand that mistakes are the first step to success.
Our first priority is to teach phonograms and develop literacy skills that will carry them through the rest of their lives. The Riggs Program systematically develops an understanding of the skills needed to both encode and decode words, enabling competence in both reading and writing. The Core Knowledge curriculum adds excitement to children's natural curiosity about the world around them. Core Knowledge encompasses language arts, mathematics, science, history, geography, fine arts, and physical education.
