Foundation Board of Directors
The Foundation is a team that focuses on fundraising, grants, and donations to augment and support what LCS needs/would like to have. This team organizes and peruses grants, fundraising, and community outreach and partnership opportunities. Major activities include the "Foundations" annual benefit auction, reloadable gift cards (Scrips), LCS Store, and other goodness. The Foundation works with the Board of Directors and School Staff and Administration to determine needs, determine price points, prioritize, plan, fundraise, and implement ideas at the school.

President, Mike Bryant
Mike is the father of three children and holds a masters degree in business administration from Mercer University and an undergraduate degree in communications and management information systems from St. Cloud State University. Mike's career path has enabled him to leverage 15 years of risk management and marketing analytics expertise to help customers around the globe improve how they communicate and manage their valued customers.
Originally from Minnesota, Mike moved to Atlanta, Georgia, after acquiring his undergraduate degree. There he met his wife, Katherine. After living in Atlanta for ten years, Mike and Katherine decided to move Colorado in 2009. His passion for improving our education system has led him to volunteer his time and expertise towards helping the Loveland Classical Schools Foundation Board. In his free time Mike enjoys hiking, running, weight lifting, hunting and accomplishing home improvement projects.
Board Secretary, Julie McArthur
Julie is a stay-at home mother of three boys and one little girl. The boys are currently students at LCS, but her daughter is anxiously waiting for her first day of school in a couple of years. Julie moved to Colorado with her husband in 2002 from Oregon. She has a BA in Interior Design from Oregon State University.
She has been happily married for almost 15 years. She enjoys volunteering at the school, playing with her kids, redesigning and redecorating her home, as well as others’, reading, and taking road trips - 'cuz getting there is half the fun!
Board Treasurer, Shawn Hanson
Shawn and her husband Kent are parents of two LCS girls and have lived in Colorado since 1994. She is a practicing Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of experience. Shawn is active with the LCS finance committee, her church, and Kairos Youth and Family Services in addition to being a past board member of Birthline of Loveland. She enjoys reading, walking and traveling.
Donations Chair, Greg Dellinger
Greg is the father of five children and holds a master’s degree in business/finance from James Madison University. Greg has spent 25 years as a registered advisor and believes trust and commitment are essential in developing successful long-term relationships. Greg enjoys golf, tennis and reading.

Benefit Auction Co-Chair, Jennifer Thayer
Jennifer and her husband Nicholas have been happily married for 11 years. They are the parents of two children, both of whom currently attend LCS. She and her family moved to Loveland in 2008 and became involved in helping to create Loveland Classical Schools in 2010 through support letter writing, flyer campaigns, informational booths, and application review. Since that time, she has been involved in a variety of volunteer opportunities, including volunteering weekly in classrooms; classroom coordinator; Friday Staff lunches; grant reviews; and chairing the first annual Loveland Classical Schools Foundation Benefit Auction.
Jennifer moved to Colorado after graduating from the University of Wyoming with a BS in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering. She worked for Hewlett Packard for 10 years doing electrical and firmware development on a variety of products before deciding to stay home to raise her first child. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, supporting her children in their extra-curricular activities, making crafts with and for family, and spending time in the great outdoors.
Benefit Auction Co-Chair, Danielle McCormick
Danielle moved to Colorado from Northern California in 1999. She is the owner of a hospitality consulting and training company assisting organizations to improve their service and employee culture. Danielle is the mother of two daughters, one in elementary school and the second in upper school.
Danielle and her husband Jordan are passionate about supporting the Loveland community and are thrilled to have their daughters attend LCS. Danielle is proud to support the school through fundraising efforts to better allow the staff to focus on their goals in educating our children. In her free time Danielle enjoys traveling and enjoying the outdoor beauty Colorado offers.
