03/22/14 - Thank you to all who contributed donations, volunteered time, or provided financial support to the second annual Foundation Benefit Auction held on March 15, 2014. This year's event surpassed all expectations with over 220 individuals from our LCS family and local community in attendance and raising nearly $44,000 for our school!
The evening once again began with tenacious bidding wars on silent and student art auction items, followed by dinner, an entertaining and lively Heads and Tails game, an energetic live and dessert auction, and a paddle call to support our students' playground and outdoor space expansion as voted on by our LCS parents at Back-to-School night. The evening concluded with the ever popular drawings for Teacher Treasures.
Congratulations to Desmond Valdez for winning the Heads or Tails game and taking home the 40" Ultra Slim LED HD television donated by the Loveland Walmart Distribution Center, and to Mrs. Ballenski for winning the silent auction drawing for a gourmet Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory basket. Congratulations also to all who won the Teacher Treasure drawings. If you are a winner of the Teacher Treasure and have not yet made contact with the donating teacher(s), please do so as soon as possible.
The Foundation Board and the Benefit Auction Team would like to send a heartfelt thank you to our amazing event sponsors for their generous support: Coberly Chiropractic; Andrew Flanscha of Thrivent Financial, LLC; BEM Int'l, LLC; Home State Bank; Dave Trujillo of The Group Real Estate and OtterCares Foundation.
The success of these types of events are dependent on the continued generous support of our LCS family and community. Thank you to all who have been so generous in supporting our school thus far. We look forward to your continued support in the future.
Gratefully, Your Foundation Benefit Auction Team
